advice needed! problems after screw removal
« on: June 11, 2015, 01:31:16 PM »
Ive had my ACL re-done twice, and 2 years ago had the screws and staples removed from tibia, because they were causing pain and stopping range of motion. Ever since, ive had a dull aching pain when I exercise, or after i use my legs, went to a new doc, who got an MRI, and it said the holes had filled with fatty marrow, and not covered in hard bone, like a normal bone is.
has anyone had this, heard of it, know anything at all about it???
It hurts enough that it interrupts daily life, im only 23, had 6 surgeries on Left knee already, would love to get it sorted!
im wondering if the fatty bone instead of hard bone could cause any mechanical abnormalities, like the way the bone handles stress and forces?
