Pins and Needles with Knee OA?
« on: May 01, 2015, 01:29:00 PM »
Hi, I'm back! I had HA therapy three weeks ago on my left knee (OUCH). I've not noticed a great improvement, but I know patients don't usually see results for 5 weeks. One odd thing I've noticed in the past couple of weeks is that every morning, once I get up, I have a 'pins and needles' feeling in my lower legs. They don't feel "asleep" or anything, just this odd sensation in both legs that goes away after a few minutes. Does anyone have experience with this? I went to the doctor a month or so ago when my leg went from pins and needle to numb but they did a CAT scan and didn't find anything wrong, then I didn't have the sensation again until these past couple of weeks and only first thing in the morning. So weird.

Sleeping in an odd position? Tweaking a nerve somewhere? See a physio for an assessment maybe
