Sensitivity of knee cap skin
« on: April 04, 2015, 05:50:48 PM »
Hi, I'm now 11 weeks post surgery for my patellar tendon surgery repair (2nd surgery repair attempt).

My knee cap skin is still very sensitive, to the point that I can't cover my knee with a blanket in bed without experiencing pain & having to uncover knee.

Has any one else experienced this sensitivity so far out from surgery?

I am 8 weeks out from a quad tendon rupture and have noticed a similar feeling depending on certain materials - jeans specifically are rough to me.  For me, it's the lower half of the kneecap that is sensitive, but the upper half is still numb.
