ACL scarred onto PCL

Has anyone had this experience? What does it mean?

Yes I had this exact scenario, football injury late September 2015
MRI showed complete acl rupture
But Was getting false negatives on the acl tests even though I had instability
First scope Jan 2016 confirmed complete rupture of acl.
Surgeon said that because of the way the acl scarred it had connected itself into the PCL while trying to heal.
He said this was the reason I was getting false negatives on the tests but instability when moving around

Now 5 days post op for hamstring acl recon so stick with it and fingers crossed you'll get your answers
You're probably in for a long road! I'm 6 months since injury and only just seeing an outcome.
