3 years post OP ACL reconstruction.. worried about new pain
« on: January 01, 2015, 09:54:14 PM »
Hi,

I am about 3 years post OP ACL reconstruction. Knee strength and quads were feeling strong and moving great the past year. I think I might of aggravated something playing tennis a couple weeks ago. I believe impact from coming down on my serves. A day or two after I noticed a lot of pain and sensitivity on the bone area where the surgery scars were, inside area next to tibia.

Now that I have been walking a lot the past few days the pains worse. I have full motion though and can stand straight leg extended no pain. Also my knee and graft still seems tight and in place I think. There is just a lot of pain in the joint/bone area where surgery scars were and minor swelling. I'm hoping this is just some kind of minor joint pain or bruising and well go away with ice and staying off it.

Any help, thoughts, suggestions, or experience with the same issue is much appreciated!!!

Jason
