Need help reading this CT report
« on: December 18, 2014, 03:38:10 PM »
I am 3 months S/P HTO and recently having swelling in the bend of my knee, throbbing, and recently sharp pains right below my knee.  My ortho doctor ordered a CT.  This is the Impression on the report and I was told the doctor was going to call me when he got into the office this afternoon to talk about it.  HELP!

The patient is status post high tibial osteotomy with 2 absorbable screws and radiolucent material placed in the anterior and medial aspect of the tibial osteotomy with some small fragments of material posterior to the posterior medial tibial plateau, as well as to radiopaque flat and structures in the midline of the tibial osteotomy. No bridging callus is seen around the osteotomy site anteriorly, posteriorly or circumferentially and none appears to have grown into the prosthetic/synthetic material.
