lax ligaments after TKR
« on: December 04, 2014, 09:05:28 AM »
I had bilateral TKR 4/2014 and have had tendonitis caused by ligamentous laxity after surgery.  I have 15 degrees side to side movement and my knees hyperextend.  The tendonitis is so bad I have difficulty going up and down stairs- still 1 step at a time, getting up from sitting, can't ride even a recumbent bike from guarding my knees for so long, I've lost the degree of bend. I am "double jointed" but never had any problem with it until now.  I've been on Mobic for the tendonitis, but it just doesn't give much relief. Have tried acupuncture... Anyone out there with similar problems that have been helped.
