Help, I fell and am worried! Lcl and politeal tendon

I fell hard yesterday, my crutch slipped out to the side and I wasn't ready and put all my weight on my leg. My leg was locked when I put my weight on  it as I was trying to stop myself from falling, felt everything in my knee pull....my knee felt like it was burning....I took something for pain yesterday, thoughout the nite (I took some oxycodone) there was moderate pain behind my knee and down the lateral side of my knee and keg along with continual muscle spasms. I am sitting here now and have a lot of lateral knee pain and there is pain behind my knee....the lcl was tightened up as I stretched it on my initial injury...am worried I may have done something to that and my popliteal tendon was 2/3 torn and stitched together and am worried I may have done something to that too? I don't see dr for 3 weeks, wondering if I should see him earlier to check things out? Extremely worried.

I'm not sure where you live but most doctors I've had in the USA or Canada you can call the office and explain your concerns to his staff and they will talk to the doctor and let you know if he wants to see you. That's what i would do if it's an option.  Good Luck!
