Knee problems
« on: October 20, 2014, 11:54:51 PM »
Hi, I'm new to this site and I was just looking for some answers.
About a year ago I noticed pain in my right knee. I do not play any sports,
I have not had any injuries/falls and I have a BMI of 23 so I am not
overweight. I had an x-Ray which came back as 'no bony abnormalities'
so I got referred for an MRI. The results came back and they say, 'There is
intrasubstance degenerative change in the posterior horn and body of the
medial meniscus. Mild cartilaginous thinning and subchondral odema is
noted in the anterior aspect of the medial femoral condyle. There is degenerative
change at the patellofemoral joint.'
I currently attend physio once every 2 weeks as instructed, but all I am looking for
is answers to why and what is happening with my knee. Any input would be greatly
appreciated, thanks!
