Bursitis of the knee / Infrapatellar Bursitis
« on: October 01, 2014, 09:28:33 PM »
Hi everyone,

I am a 22 year old male, Sports science, Strength and Conditioning student from London.

I have been suffering from deep infrapatellar bursitis for about 9 months now on my right knee.  It's driving me up the wall! I have had a cortisone injection about 2 weeks ago and that has done sweet f a.  Cost the earth too!  It has now moved to the left side because i have obviously over-compensated for it.  I think next step is to get the bursa removed.

Has anyone suffered from this themselves?  I was planning on joining the Royal Marines Commandos after university but that dream is quickly slipping away. If anyone can help me out or shed some light on this it would be massively appreciated!

Many, many thanks guys

Fred
