ACL post op incision complication
« on: October 26, 2014, 06:10:45 PM »
Hello all. My first post to the forum but have been reading the site for awhile. I had my ACL revision surgery 5 weeks ago. Have had a lot of swelling and was told it was due to the OA I have now. Thought I caught a cold last week as I had a fever and general malaise. Yesterday I noticed that when I press on my main incision that bloody pus comes out from under the large scab that has formed. PT kept telling me it was normal for my knee to bleed daily and now I'm thinking that it is now infected. Anyone else experience something this far post op? Thanks.
