Fell down stairs. No pain/swelling, not sure if imagining it, feels messed up

I slipped on a step while on the phone leading with my right foot, kind of reacted by looking to drop to the stairs and minimize impact. Right leg kind of twisted and 'planted' (not sure how much of both). It stunned me and hurt for 3-5 minutes, but pain has gone away. However a feeling that it's "off" has persisted.
I have had CNS issues for the last few months, hard to sum up, and not really of concern here, but nerve feelings in general have not been reliable. Focusing on an area can make it feel 'weird' in a hypochondria kind of way.
So, without any lasting pain, or swelling, to speak of, should I be at all worried about a knee sprain? Just trying to play it safe, I am icing it and staying off of it in the meantime.

I would like to but I am too broke for another doctor's visit, unless something serious is ruled in.

When did you do this? As you are doing, follow the PRICE protocol for a week or two and see how it goes. If it gets worse, swells etc, see a doctor (can't you get free care at an ER). If it is a sprain, that is the usual treatment, potentially with physiotherapy...even fairly minor knee injuries can often take weeks if not months to resolve
No one on the forum will be able to tell you what's wrong, most of us are just patients with past or current knee issues. You need a hands on examination and possibly imaging for a diagnosis from a trained medical professional (even if there were doctors, they couldn't ethically diagnose you over the web)
Good luck

Knee pops when fully extended too.
I did this @3 today (it's 6 now).

Ice if swollen, rest, take painkillers if it hurts and see a specialist doctor if not better in a week or two. Assuming you are in US and self paying, imaging and treatment etc could get costly I would think
Popping isn't usually something to worry about unless it's painful as well
However, if truly concerned see a medical professional to put your mind at rest or get a diagnosis

I am worried mostly about a meniscus tear. I can't seem to get a feeling about whether or not this is likely (or just minor) without pain. Was yours painful Vickster?

Oh yes, and it swelled massively, lots of pain, I couldn't straighten my leg so had a limp (until I got the surgery 5 months after the trauma), I also damaged the bone
Pain along the joint line is fairly classic with meniscus tear
How old are you? If young (i.e. under 30) you typically need quite a strong twist of the knee to tear the meniscus

I'm only 25. Guess this is all good to hear, I think I just had a minor sprain/strain. No swelling, no anterior/posterior dislocation (Lachman test), little pain - just this weird feeling like something's off. Will give it a few days.
