osteonecrosis issues
« on: August 11, 2014, 12:09:28 AM »
Dr Mont did my double knee surgery in 2009. scope/scrape/cored/OATS. lasted about 2 years. 2011 started getting chicken comb injections, that helped until last summer. then i was told that there may not be enough live bone for a replacement?? ive never heard of that!
what i don't understand is, isn't the arthritis pain seperate from the bone pain?? the bone pain is horrific, yet no one seems to want to do anything about it? asprin/piroxicam, ha...doesn't even touch the bone pain. so even if a knee replacement can be done, would the bone pain (that now includes all the way to mid shin) improve??
Thanks in advance!
