Where to get new straps?
« on: August 06, 2014, 09:11:56 AM »
Hi all,
Does anyone know where to get replacement straps
For a brace? The top thigh strap has worn through where
It attached, so won't stay secured to my leg.

I use this brace a lot so getting it fixed is quite urgent.
The brace is a medi m4s.

Would the hospital I got it from help?
Many thanks

Was it a private or NHS hospital?  If the latter, I'd contact the manufacturer directly?

Came off bike onto concrete 9/9/09
LK arthroscopy 8/2/10
2nd scope on 16/12/10
RK arthroscopy on 5/2/15
Lateral meniscus trim, excision of hoffa's fat pad, chondral stabilisation
LK scope 10.1.19 medial menisectomy, trochlea microfracture, general tidy up

Thanks for the link vickster, they sell the full strap kit all six😀 just under 30,
But they haven't any medium in stock, so it'll be next week before they arrive 😔

I have another brace I can use till then but it's big & very bulky!!
Also contacted the hospital's ortho dep'. They said if I was to come & see them they'd have a look
& see what they can do.
If they can fix it tomorrow great, if not I'll hopefully have the new straps next week.
Thanks again barry
