There is a noticeable bump on my left knee towards the outer part of my leg. If the bottom of my knee is 6 o'clock, the knot is located at approximately 3 o'clock. The symptoms are soreness and stiffness. I can walk fine but after a few hours on my feet or continued trips up and down stairs it becomes quite painful.
I have had varied success in its rehabilitation through stretching, rolling out my muscles and tiger balm treatments. There was even a point where I thought my knee was healed.
I injured my knee in December during a jiu-jitsu session.
I found myself in an unfamiliar submission hold where my knee was twisted. It didn't hurt at the time or even afterwards but the next day it was quite sore.
I figured it would just go away since the only problem was that it was stiff and sore and I could still carry on all of my daily activities. Could still walk and run, climb stairs, exercise, continue martial arts etc.
I was wondering if anyone had a diagnosis and perhaps some possible remedies I could do on my own. Id rather not go to the Dr. but if I must, I must. Just thought Id see if I could get any help on here.
Thanks so much and Many Blessings,
Caleb
