Stiff Knee post aclr
« on: July 24, 2014, 02:38:24 PM »
Hi Guys
I underwent acl reconstruction on my left knee 5weeks ago. I had a bptb autograft aclr. I have achieved full extension. However I have been really struggling to to get good flexion. Currently i have only achieved 75 degrees of flexion. When I wake up in the morning, my knee is always stiff and I am able to bend it to 75 deg after doing a lot of wall slides. Also if I do not bend my knee a lot during the day, my knee stiffens really quickly again. My question to the forum is have any of your'll experienced the same problem of stiffening up so quickly?

I posted two posts below you. I'm also 5 weeks post aclr, but hamstring autograph. I was generally alright until today. Knee us incredibly stiff and only getting about 80 deg flex ion. Taking it easy today and lots of ice so will see if it improves by tomorrow!
