Advise please on knee supports!
« on: July 21, 2014, 05:03:06 PM »
At the moment Iv got really really bad knee pain and I am stumped on what to do..well when I say knee pain it is a dull ache and nothing sever enough for surgery.. and maybe the doctors will just think I am being a wimp but is stopping me playing sports... So I been looking online and I have read a post made by one my friends who had something similar ( http://suburbanbliss.net/2014/07/finally-getting-rid-of-my-knee-pain ) and they said knee supports are best. So do knee supports that are help?.. can the compression stop dull aches?

thank you!

You should see and take advice from a physiotherapist or sports physician as there are different types of support. Have you rested the knee adequately, used ice for pain swelling. These go hand in hand with compression
Came off bike onto concrete 9/9/09
LK arthroscopy 8/2/10
2nd scope on 16/12/10
RK arthroscopy on 5/2/15
Lateral meniscus trim, excision of hoffa's fat pad, chondral stabilisation
LK scope 10.1.19 medial menisectomy, trochlea microfracture, general tidy up
