knee probs in leg that wasnt operated on
« on: July 20, 2014, 11:34:01 PM »
I had no knee prob at all until I had a period of injury and foolishly overdid it when I returned to running.after 7 runs in january, I wss on the waiting list for LR, microfracture and told I had grade 4 damage.whilst waiting I had occassional aches and paibs in right knee, and all ptofessionals insisted it would settle down.i am now 9 weeks post op, having had LR, meniscus work, patelladebridement and work on tibial plateau and femoral condyle. Was doing really well, statted on single leg preses and cross trainer on Friday , now fretting that pain in non operated leg is back..worried that single leg press might have been too much gor unoperated leg, tho operated leg felt better for it and has no after affects. The scan on non operated leg on May 7 showed sone damage but consultant said it would need no work for 6 years.anyone had similar probs..hoping its just the unaccustoned activity
