Is this normal?
« on: July 14, 2014, 01:34:11 AM »
Basically I had a ligament reconstruction using LARS (artificial ligament) on the 24th May, I developed an infection in one of the wounds which I was taking antibiotics for after the course they swabbed again and it came back showing an infection but they didn't give me anything for it because the wound had healed and I found out I was pregnant, a few weeks later my leg felt fine I even went back to work without any issues until this morning I woke up and I literally couldn't move my knee is double if not tripled in size there is a lot of fluid and I'm in absolute agony (can only take paracetamol due to pregnancy) I've iced it which isn't seeming to help and kept it raised but I can't seem to ease the pain it's going from ankle to hip....any advice or suggestions to what's going on?????
