post-ACI and Fulkerson advice

Just had surgery this week.  Any suggestions on comfortable positions?  My pain is not currently well managed.  Call is in to doc regarding some other possible medication(s), although I'm currently taking 10 mg oxycodone, every 4 hours and concerned that is a LOT.  I'm worried because elevating the leg seems to cause more pain/discomfort, so I feel the swelling I'm experiencing is way more than expected.  I just can't find a comfortable way to elevate my leg...

Suggestions?

My fulkerson was a year ago so first know that you will get through it! I couldn't get comfortable either. Best I could do was with a wedged knee pillow and tons of ice. Pain wasn't  really well
Managed for the first 10 days or so when the knee started to calm down. That first 10 days I thought I'd made a terrible mistake but I now no longer dislocate where I was a dozen times a day before.

The only real advice I have is elevate, ice and do not let the pain meds wear off! They're doing more than you realize!
