Injection for Plica Syndrome
« on: April 11, 2014, 03:10:14 AM »
Anyone had success on long term plica syndrome from an injection? It's been bothering me for a few months and just had a cortisone injection today. Anything I can do to give the injection the best possible chance to work?

while nobody has been able to give me a direct answer to what is wrong with my knee, plica did come up. I got an injection and got back to running for a few months. I was also lifting during that time. I ended up doing a bike class and a lot of mashing which I never did before. The next day I started having issues. Not sure If the bike caused this ( I"m sure it didn't help). but it was upsetting. I just got another shot and we will see what happens :(
