« on: April 04, 2014, 10:58:39 AM »
Hello! First post here. Hope someone can help. So I'm 37 years old; runner (67 kg and 1,70 mts) I run 90 km/week. I've done a marathon and 3 halfmarathon from January of 2013. So form middel January of this year I star to felt a disconfort on the "bcak of the right Knee". It's really pain... The sentation is that a have like a "finger pressing all the time"... What can it be? And yes! I have an apointment with a doctor on next Monday!

You'll need the doctor to do a thorough investigation.  It could be anything really, possibly overuse from too much running which can be unkind to knees, it could be a strain, a cyst, a tear of cartilage or ligament.  In the meantime you should Rest (no running), Ice (20 minutes every few hours with ice always wrapped in a cloth to protect the skin) and Elevate.

Good luck with the doctor on Monday - are you seeing a GP or a specialist (sports medicine, orthopaedics or similar)? :)
