  • LK dislocation, lcl laxity, pcl torn twice,
mcl?
« on: March 15, 2014, 02:20:18 PM »
Hi all,
after months of no knee problems & playing badminton twice a week now. although i use a brace
when playing.
i was playing doubles last night for. a couple of hours, no problems no twisting or anything untoward.
today I'm getting pain on the medial side of my knee, it feels stiff when i sit for a while, & when i extend
my knee it's very painful & it feels like somethings pulling just below the joint line.
also in bed i found it hard moving my leg across the bed sideways without pain & pulling sensation.

if it's an mcl injury how the hell ilhave i done it without noticing anything!!!!
any thoughts?

seen os today & she suspects mcl sprain, been put in a leg brace for 3-4 weeks pwb with crutches. for a week.
then go see physio next week.
not getting down on this just putting it down as a setback in my recovery.
it's the first problem i've had in months so looking @ the. positive side that i should be ok in 6-8 weeks
