Here's an update :
I met with another ortho yesterday. After he looked at my x-rays and examined my knee, he told me the following :
1. Scar tissue has built up and it's not letting me reach full range of motion. It can possibly break free as my leg gets stronger. Which he has worked with before or I get a scope.
2. The graft is to tight and is not letting my knee go back to its original shape. That scenario will involve completely removing the graft and redo the surgery.
He sounded really sure it was just scar tissue. And he has worked with a lot of patients that didn't need surgery. He has scheduled an MRI.

Problem solved. Meniscus tear, bad adhesion's, scar tissue and frozen patella...

Last time I posted was over a year ago. Its been a crazy year at that. My knee never improved. I switched therapist and I thought I would see better results, but I didn't. My insurance ran out on therapy. They refused to pay for my treatment. I couldn't afford the out of pocket expense.
Luckily I switched jobs and they had a better health plan. UNLIMITED THERAPY VISITS!!!! They were disgusted after they did their initial patient intake. They asked me what my regimen was at the previous therapy office. They couldn't believe what I told them. The previous therapist never did patella mobilization on me, ever!!! After 3 months they worked wonders with my knee. They were able to improve my strength and ROM so quickly.
But my knee didn't improve after that. So, here comes the great part, they happen to work with the Ortho who is the Black Hawks Hockey Team Dr. It took a quick google search and I found out it happened to be an Ortho who has been mentioned in this site many times, Dr Mike Terry, arthrofibrosis specialist.
I just had my knee scoped on 12/1/2015. In which he found I had a meniscus tear and bad adhesion's all around my knee, my tendons had shortened, my patella was frozen and started to change form and all kinds of bad stuff. I went to therapy the very next day and I was able to bend my to 120 and had full extension. I was amazed. 3 weeks out of surgery I can now bend my knee to 132 degrees without force and have a -1 extension. The therapist stated I was way ahead of schedule and I should be good as new in no time..
Its amazing what a great knowledgeable ortho and qualified therapist can do for you. All I can say is that when you feel something is wrong or don't feel you are getting better. Go get a second opinion. I really messed that up. I trusted the therapist knew what they were doing. Even though I felt my something was wrong with my knee. But im better now and I am grateful
