laxity after 2nd surgery
« on: February 05, 2014, 11:17:10 AM »
So two years on and I have had my 5 month review after my second surgery and the consultant says it's deffenitly lax but he doesn't want to make it any tighter. My acl seems strong my mcl seems a little lax but my pcl seems the worst, it has around 10mm of shift from front to back and at its worst it falls in line with my femoral condyles(knee joint) I'm concernd about this and wondering if there is anybody who also has  this problem and how they have managed. It isn't a case of my ligament being torn as it is new and not been under any strain at all so im not sure you could call it a grade 2 tear.
Thanks in advance
