ACL Reconstruction
« on: January 20, 2014, 01:37:10 AM »
Hey everyone, just have some quick questions. I'm currently 10 weeks post-op from an ACL reconstruction (patellar graft) and partial lateral menisectomy. For the most part, it's going great, I have full range of motion and no swelling. I'm able to do squats, lunges and jogging for extended periods of time.

My first concern is that there is stiff feeling in my knee, like right behind the patella tendon. It feels really bothersome and at times there would be a crack in my knee and it feels a great deal more limber and comfortable before it starts stiffening up again. Anyone else have this feeling before?

My second concern is pain during hyperextension. When I fully extend my knee, I feel almost a pinching pain in my knee. Any input on that would be greatly appreciated.  :)

Maybe I'm overreacting since I'm only 10 weeks out of surgery but I'm just excited/nervous to get back into soccer and performing like before *fingers crossed*. Thanks for reading  ;D
