Blood Clot?
« on: January 18, 2014, 02:17:51 AM »
I had my ACLR (hamstring auto) this afternoon. I had a femoral block, but I don't think it's working rich,as I can still feel a significant amount of pain, even while taking the max does of pain pills. I have on a bandage, locked brace, and cryocuff, and I feel like I have a bad cramp in the top of my calf muscle. I can't see if it's red or anything because of the dressings, so I'm worried it may be a blood clot. I've been doing ankle pumps like I'm supposed to, but the calf pain is getting worse.

For those of you who have experience with this, should my ACLR be causing this localized pain, or should I be concerned about a clot?

I have not had ACLr so cannot comment on pain, but do hope you have contacted your Dr or have gone to ER by now.  Always better to be safe & wrong.
