On my third OS who also too said I was too young for a PKR so performed an arthroscopy to clean things up" this clearly has not worked !!!! how do I go about finding an OS who would perform a PKR on young patient? I feel like I'm going around in circles having op after op with no success :(

What country are you in?  You are probably best to seek out a surgeon with more specialism in patella issues if you've not already done so.  Are you reliant on the healthcare provision where you are, or do you have freedon / ability to self pay / go private which may have an influence

Do you know why your kneecap is shot.  If maltracking / malaligned, that will need to be addressed with / before a PKR or I understand the same issues will occur.  Having the cause addressed may also help ease / offload the pain

Good luck :)
