lateral release failure new problems need help !!!
« on: November 15, 2013, 03:33:30 PM »
Hey knee geeks really need help or any advice had a lateral release on my right knee 2 years ago for a tilted patella that also had instability. Since then I have never gained full strength back in my leg and have also been left with constant pain only benefit is now no instability in my knee. Have now just recently found out that my patella is lower down than a normal persons. Surgeon isn't willing to do anything and been told I am better living with it has anyone experienced this and ways to cope with constant knee pain would be a big help and also if anyone can recommend any good specialists whos able and good at dealing with these problems ..... in really need of help this is ruining my life at the moment.
Thanks Tinkerbell xxx

Adrian Wilson in Basingstoke or Prof Donnell in Norwich are two UK based patella specialists

Might want to communicate with Shelley86 who posted today - she is in Scotland with patella issues I believe, as are you?  her post is currently below yours :)

Hope you get some answers :)
