***Glucosamine and MSM balm
« on: January 27, 2004, 09:35:35 PM »
I found this on the internet.  I was thinking of buying it to help relieve patellar tendonitis pain and help promote healing etc.

Before I purchase, I thought I would ask the experts here at Kneeguru to see what you think about this product.  Has anyone used a balm like this for tendonitis?  any results?

any comments, info, experience would be helpful... thanks!

Hello Trust-In-God,

I did not know you could buy Glucosamine balm and only know of the tablet form. I think you should try the tablets as well as the balm.

My OS recommends to take Glucosamine Chondroitin Tablets  3 times a day everyday that basically lubricates your joints and suppose to help put less strain on articular cartilage that can lead to osteo-arthritus. Have just started taking them, but not sure it will help me, worth giving it a try as it has helped Members on this board. Its aslo herbal, so should have no side affects.

Can buy it from you local Health Food Shop such as Holland & Barratt in UK. Or a website that I  buy my tablets from, that's got a sale on at the moment.

Devil Claw originated from Southern Africa discovered by South African Tribes when they stumbled across a trumpet shaped flower that had a claw like fruit attached to it. It suppose to help maintain healthy joints, ligaments & tendons, back pain as well as natural pain releif. Also herbal and have been taking them for over 4 weeks and cannot say if its helped or not

Can buy the above products Worldwide in well stocked Health Food Shops. Or use Google search engine to find a online store that sells natural pills.

Hope this posting will help you decide what to go for, Nick  :){2004}:)
