Screw pain post ACL surgery
« on: October 03, 2013, 09:42:38 AM »
Hi everyone,

Just wondering if the screw used to fix the graft in place for acl recon can cause any issues further down the line? Im currently 10 months post surgery and have been back playing competitive football (soccer) for a month and a half now. No major issues but i'm just experiencing some pain in this outer thigh area where the screw is - no instability, basically feels like someones kicked it (which they haven't as far as i'm aware :) )!

Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks

Ross
