UKR (Partial Knee Lateral Compartment Replacement)
« on: February 15, 2014, 07:13:03 PM »
UKR was on the 18th Nov 2013. Ive been up and mobile since that same day and Ive been religious with the physio. Ive had a few ops in the past so Im pretty good with the general ache and restrictions in movement. But this is different.

Im looking for some advice on pain relief post physio and some tips on getting my straighten/extend improved. Short of getting my 13 year old daughter to sit on my leg Im struggling to get the flex/straighten to improve - any ideas?

Also following physio/light gym work Im struggling with the ache/pain in the late evening and during the night. Nothing worse than a twitching leg after youve gone to bed :-) Im trying to avoid codine/morphine based stuff, but paracetamol doesnt touch it. there are no real issues with sweling and I ice as necessary - any ideas?

Regards........... :-)
