Is my surgery too late!?
« on: May 03, 2013, 12:08:46 AM »
Folks, I also ruptured my knee tendon while I was playing basketball this past Sunday 4/28/13.  :-\ I am already scheduled to have my MRI and initial meet with my surgeon doctor on this coming Monday 5/06/13. With this being said, my surgery time will be at least 10 days after my initial injury time. Is this a little bit too late? Would this delay significantly affect my surgery result and my recovery time?  :(
Thank you all in advance!

Hi

Do you mean Patellar tendon /Quad tendon? If so then I think you will be ok. I partially tore (75%) of my Quad tendon and didn't have surgery till 5 months later. My surgeon said that I should be ok.
