Can a knee fracture cause feet swelling?

It can, but a lot of other things can cause it, too. Make sure you do ankle pumps  if you are mostly sedentary, drink a lot of healthy fluids (things like pop or gatorade with sodium can make it worse, drink water) and lay flat on your back with your feet way up. To alleviate swelling, the recliner will not work. Lay on the bed or on the couch and put a good 3 or so pillows under your ankle (not under your knee). The swollen part needs to be above your heart-level to drain the excess fluid so the kidneys can process it. Lots of water will help flush out the fluid, too.
