I'm no doctor by any means and I'm not trying to scare you, but from the symptoms you describe ("blue feet", lack of circulation, ringing in your ear, and sores on your feet and toes), something else appears to be going on besides the degradation of your knee.  Have you been checked by your family physician for other problems?
Sep '99: Tore left ACL (football) - misdiagnosed
Sep '99-Apr '09: Lived with pain and buckling
Apr '09: New PCP (who listened), MRI and OS consult - proper dx
May '09: LK ACL Allograft and 25% medial meniscus removal
Sep '09: Released from PT and OS ... back to things I haven't done in 10 years!

Your other symptoms also concern me. Our son is diabetic and many of the symptoms(especially the foot sores, blue feet and the ear ringing) you mention often coincide with diabetes/chronic high blood sugar.  If you have never been tested for it, you should consider it. It is a pretty easy test. These types of complications can become serious problems if not treated appropriately, leading to amputations and all sorts of other unpleasant things. Make sure you get it checked out. Even though our son is only 4, we have to inspect his feet daily for any bruises, cuts, discolorations and sores, and every little cut he gets has to have extra attention given to it.
