femoral medial contusion
« on: March 11, 2013, 01:29:43 AM »
Does anyone know how long it takes this injury takes to heal (femoral medial condyle contusion) I'm finally walking without a crutch after 2 months but can't put too much weight on it or carry anything very heavy at all. Stayed in bed not moving except when necessary for 2 months.

Bone bruises (which i assume this is what you mean) can take 6 months to heal and indeed, if severe, 12 months or longer

I assume you are doing physio therapy, you must have lost some muscle mass if you didn't use the leg for so long.  What does your doctor say - this is where you should be getting advice about rehabilitation.  Did your doctor really recommend you didn't do anything for 2 months?

Good luck :)
