Adult onset Osgood Schlatters?
« on: February 23, 2013, 06:12:34 AM »
I'm 20 and my doctor told me I have Osgood Schlatters. I know I didn't have it when I was younger, I wasn't active and I haven't grown since I was 14/15.
I noticed the pain sometime last year after I'd started going to the gym for a while, but I thought it was arthritis (due to something else). I recently had a lot of ankle pain and when they were clear, my doctor looked at my knee and said I had OS.
It hurts when I walk, and I can't not walk... is there anything that works for the pain besides everything I've read about? None of that seems to be working.
I do get some relief when wearing a knee support, but it gets too annoying to wear for a long time.
