Environment & Rheumatoid?
« on: February 17, 2013, 07:40:25 PM »
Hi everyone,
I have been to see a few rheumatologists. They all state that I do not have Rheumatoid Arthritis. However, I have had for many years a lot of symptoms consistent with RA: knee and shoulder inflammation, dry eye, Raynaud's, lumps and bumps on my illiotibial bands and to a lesser degree achilles tendon sheaths that will not go away no matter how much time I spend on foam rollers. I have been working on taking foods out of my diet that might be triggers, like sugar, white flour, white rice, milk, etc. (I have some more work to do on eliminating foods). I am curious if anyone knows anything about environmental factors that might cause RA type symptoms? Maybe an allergy to animal dander, mold, a pollutant, or something along those lines?
