A tiny piece of Glass in my Knee
« on: February 17, 2013, 01:55:31 AM »
Hello.... I am new to this forum.
About three weeks ago....a glass plate I had made  a few years broke onto the floor.
As I began to clean it up .....I knelt and got a piece of glass embedded into my kneecap.
I cleaned it up and thought it had made it's way out of my knee.
After awhile ...I went to the local walk in clinic and they xrayed my right knee.
Yes...it is confirmed!   I have a triangle piece of glass inside my kneecap .
My knee hurts and so...wonderd what the next step would be.
Thanks!

After you went to have the xray they had no advice for you on what to do about it? I personally would have it removed, so that it does not work it's way anywhere else and cause damage to other structures of the knee.
