POPLITEUS MUSCLE PROBLEM
« on: January 13, 2004, 10:52:10 PM »
DUE TO OVERUSE, TOO MUCH RUNNING, CYCLING AND WEIGHT LIFTING MY POPLITEUS MUSCLE BECAME VERY WEAK.

WHEN SQUATTING DOWN FOR ANY REASON IT FEELS WEAK AS I NEAR 90 DEGREES GOING DOWN AND UP.
I HAVE NEVER FELT IT WHILE RUNNING, CYCLING OUT OF THE SADDLE  HIGHLIGHTED THIS PROBLEM.

I HAVE STARTED DOING FRONT SQUATS, WITH ONLY THE BAR I CAN FEEL THE POPLITEUS MUSCLE SORT OF CLICKING BUT WHEN I INCREASE THE WEIGHT THE PROBLEM EASES RIGHT OFF.

SHOULD I STOP ALL EXERCISE FOR AWHILE? I HAVE NEVER STOPPED THE RUNNING BUT DUE TO RELOCATION THE CYCLING IS TWO SESSIONS IN THE GYM ONLY.
