Friday 12 October 12 and almost 6 months post op and a long time since my last visit here. I was starting to think that I was perhaps spending too much time reflecting, dwelling....reading...instead of just "doing".

The scars continue to fade, as do the setbacks and Dennis gets stronger every day. Running still presents a challenge and it might be another month or two before I can really make some solid progress in that department. Time in the pool has proven to be one of the best forms of exercise for my recovery and I have come to enjoy the mindlessness of swimming lap after lap...after lap.

I hope my old friends here are doing well and have all but moved on from here and moved ahead with their recoveries.

If there's anyone out there who needs some support or words of advice with ACL and MPFL reconstructions, I'm in a better place to be objective....or at least a little more objective than when I was in an Endone-induced stupor.

Take care all and....look after those knees!

After all, we're all aware of just how important they are!

 :) Karen
