Fulkerson Osteotomy
« on: October 11, 2012, 04:18:27 PM »
Hi everyone! I'm a 20 year old female, and was told Tuesday that I needed to have a Fulkerson Osteotomy with a lateral release done. I have had chronic dioslocations for 4 years now, and they have gotten more frequent in the past few months. I have looked through a few pages on here, but am wondering what to expect as far as rehab and recovery times. I work in a hospital also, and do a lot of walking so I'm curious as to how long I'll be off work. If anyone can give me any ideas, tips, advice, or things to expect, I'd really appreciate it!  :)
Also, if you've had this done and have one of the recovery journals on here, I'd like to read through them! I'd like to know as much as possible before I go into this.
Thank you so much!
