« on: October 05, 2012, 03:36:45 PM »

i was diagnosied with af in both of my knees one year after surgery.i have 3x the stiffness and pain that i had previous to surgery.where i am confused is that i have total range of motion in both knees yet the definiton of arthrfibrosis is scar tissue causing severe restriction on rom.this is a paradox for me.can anyone shed some light or info on this very frustrating condition.

Hello,

You might try posting your message in the Soft Tissue Healing Problems-Arthrofibrosis section of bulletin board to see if you get more responses. Also, check out the Arthrofibrosis tutorial by Dr Frank Noyes in the Information Hub section. good luck.
