Hang in there - I'm sure this period while she tries to recover from her heart stopping is very hard for both of you. Hopefully the confusion will ease a bit in the coming days. How is she doing today?

It's me Malin back. I was out yesterday in a wheelchair I could lay in, in the sun some hours.
Today I have been seen the end of my amputation, scarey but ok. Also taken a shower and cut my hair.
Micciz bought china food with her today. Could eat and keep some!
Having some fever today but no infection signs!
Tomorrow they will check me some more and if I'm lucky I leave here for Stockholm on Tuesday.
I feel lucky to be alive and have such good friend in Micciz and a lovely boyfriend( we live in different cities).
I'm still on the epidural and will keep it until I am over in Stockholm, to keep pain controlled on the 5 hours ride.
Thanks everyone for the support, means the world to me!
/ all best Malin

Hi Malin
Glad to hear you are up and about i'm sure its been a really worrying time for you...
Your friend was very good to stay by your side and communicate with everyone whilst you were suffering I'm glad you have someone close i'm sure it means a lot to you.
The next few months will be difficult for you and I myself cannot even imagine going through what you have. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you keep in touch..
Take care

Monday morning and testing day!
Laying here drinking coffee and is nervous. If I can come to Stockholm that will mean that I'm closer to my mom and my friends.
So cross fingers for me. The night has been good and I have for first since surgery been sleeping really well.
I still have some fever, but they think it's with the trauma that I have been through.
I had a guy with same amputation like me visiting the other day, so am excited to get up and get my new leg and walk and also run.
I know it will take some time still...
Write later today an update about my tests./Malin

Yay Malin! So glad you were ready to make the move and that you got through the journey successfully. Hope it wasn't too exhausting or painful, and that you settle into the new hospital well.

The trip took 5 hours and 20 minutes. As it was with ambulance it was a bit bumpy but they made it as comfortable as they could.
My friend Micciz went behind in her car so we talked a lot on phone. I also got some candy and soda after my wishes on the way.
I have been sleeping during the eve a lot so now I can't sleep.
The upcoming plan this week is to increase the nerv pain meds more and then wean off the epidural. Also some other steps is to start exercise my left leg and arms to get stronger and first get up in wheelchair then on crutches.
As I had some surgery on my left leg also and have been bedridden for almost 2 months I have lost both weight and muscles.
So I need tó get up and be able fix myself.
Also my immunesystem and my MRSA must be checked and under control.
So it will be some more weeks in hospital, then to rehab place and then home to my friend.
I also need to move again as my apartment is not fit enough for me.
The most exciting is during all this I have met a person that means a lot to me. Now is time for us soon to meet in real life for the first time. He really impress me in his way to care and be there for me. Ok more tomorrow..am tired now./Mailin
