Hey Malin,
I'm another of those "lurkers" who also read and follow to see how you've been. I've been kept really busy with my work, so I've not been able to post as much as I'd like, and I apologise for that. I've got a permanently wrecked knee, and I know that you're an inspiration to people like me - you never give up, even with all you've been through, and that's so incredible!

When I've had a bad day, and I'm in pain and miserable, I think of you, and think that if you can, so can I. I take a page from your book - find the things I like to do that I can do from my couch or bed when the knee's had enough, and do those, and when I can, get back at it.

You're a very, very special person, Malin, and through these pages here have touched so many lives. The never-ending courage you show with all you've been through is something that is just amazing. I hope those around you in your life every day realize how special you are! :) :D

I hope you're feeling better by now, and have been up to spending some time in your studio or getting out and about a bit for a change of scenery.

thank you for being you - a very special and talented person.
Keep hanging in there! :) :)

Hi all lovely People.

I'm sorry that I haven't written for a very Long time. I am fighting infections and have done two more surgeries. It's a constant battle that I don't seem to win. I am home some Days and back to hospital again. Been like this all the time just cause of this stupid accident When I slipped by the pool. I haven't had much energy for anything. My love I have found stick with Me and so does my friends. Without I would be lost. Just Want to thank you for sticking by my side. Much love from Me to you for that. Somehow I need to get the lust and energy for Daily life back, but it's so hard so very hard. I try to get back to you soon again but if you don't hear any Then don't worry. If all would be lost....I let you know. Love Malin

Malin!!! So happy to hear from you, though very sad that it's not better news. I am so very very glad that you have friends taking care of you, and that your new love is proving loyal and supportive. I'm really sorry that you've had to endure another two surgeries; that's so tough and unfair after everything you've been through.

Don't worry about your energy levels right now. You've had to fight so hard...it's no wonder you're drained from battling these infections and recovering from surgery. We all know how strong your spirit is and when your body is doing better, you'll be able to apply the energy that you're using to fight the infections toward other things.

Write when you can, and know that even when you don't update for a while we're all thinking of you, pulling for you, and wishing with all our hearts that you're just busy living life rather than having to endure these battles. You are such a strong, brave person - don't ever let go of that strength and bravery. It will get you to where you need to be in the end.

Hugs from Vancouver. xxxx

Malin it is so good to hear from you! ;D  For some reason you just popped into my mind while I was at work today.  I'm sorry you are still having such a battle.  It just plain stinks that what would seem like a little accident has had such long lasting and significant effects.

Hang on to your love and friends-they are obviously true to you and it is wonderful that you have so much love and support in this fight.  You must feel exhausted and don't stress about that -no one could go what you have been through and do better than you seem to.  Stay strong!!!!

Hi y'all!

Am Home jumping around in crutches and now and Then use my wheelchair instead. Making Music and feeling pretty ok. Finally my wounds are closed and starting to be Me again. Working together with ny Dear friend also as We live close. Love is Good. We dont live together but are often together.
I'm right now planning my trip over to USA, back where my year of hell started. But all hasn't been hell, lots of heaven too. Actually I'm Happy for what's been sort of. I have grown as person and also got to know amazing People. I also have the most wonderful friends stuck by my side from beginning. First it's time to celebrate my birthday. I wish I could have you all by my side. You have meant the world to Me When all has been the worst. I'm thankful to be alive. It could have been the opposite. So close it has been many Times.
Thank you from deep of my heart.

Love Malin
