Eccentric decline squats heal patella tendon

I've read multiple articles and medical papers that support the use of eccentric squats to heal the patella tendon.

For anyone who has used this protocol with success, can you describe how your knees/tendons felt the first couple of weeks after you started doing the exercises?

Also, if anyone has any feedback or thoughts on the use of Graston Technique and/or Platelette Rich Plasma, I would love to hear about it.
