TTT without microfracture surgery
« on: July 23, 2012, 07:27:22 PM »
Hello all,

Well I had my surgery on Friday and went home yesterday. Had some complications and that is why I had to stay in the hospital for 2 nights. While they were doing surgery, they pulled done on the skin too much to try to cut the bone and stretched the nerve so I had horrific pain post op. Then I had some bleeding in the knee joint that was more than expected which also caused a lot of pain. But, I am home and doing well (with a little medicinal help). I start PT in 3 days -yikes. I was very pleased to know that he didnt have to do the microfracture. He thinks with just the elevation of the tibia tubricle that is will take off enough of the load of my patella. He did remove the plica. He was also able to take out the screws from my left knee from TTT surgery early last year. I have the screws - pretty cool. Anyway, just wanted to give you all a head's up that everything (so far) is doing well.
