Surgery to Address Biceps Femoris Tendinitis
« on: July 18, 2012, 06:47:58 PM »
I saw a sports med doctor in Birmingham about my ongoing biceps femoris tendinitis. He said the fibular head is too big, and stated the fix is easy - reduce the fibular head. He said he actually did the surgery a few weeks ago on a college track runner.

Has anyone heard of this type of surgery. If I'm not mistaken, I think the biceps femoris attaches to the fibular head, so I'm not sure where the friction would come in (unless it attaches toward the front).
