Hi all,

I had surgery to repair a bucket handle tear to my medial meniscus 21 days ago and am now waiting to see the OS for surgery to reconstruct a ruptured ACL - incidentally I ruptured it about 5 years ago and have been damaging the meniscus ever since.

It is still a bit swollen, not particularly painful unless I overdo it, I am completely non-weight bearing until the next op but want to use my hot tub. Does anyone know if this is ok?

Thanks!!
Sarah

If you have inflammation (considering the swelling), heat is not advisable. Try a cold pack on days when you overdo it.
Have had tilted kneecaps for many years, and occasional patellar tendinitis.
