After 2 failed MPFL reconstructions on my right knee my OS has now decided it is best to perform a trochleoplasty and also lower my knee cap at the same time

Would love to hear from anyone who has had a trochleoplasty to give me information on the recovery process

Thanks x

Hi kayleigh,

If you search this site for 'trochleoplasty' you will find some accounts of members that have gone through with this surgery and their experience.

Has your doctor checked your femur and tibia for excessive rotation?
Have had tilted kneecaps for many years, and occasional patellar tendinitis.
